Good news guys we have picked him up and he seems fine, we have got him on the bed with us, but he still wont eat, will he eat in his own time?

Great news What are u feeding the little one and when is the last time he ate something?

Your tortoise is most probably wild caught so might have a worm burden

Unfortunately it was........
we have got him out now and seems fine but won't eat, we will try and get him tested tomorrow, he is very friendly though and always comes running to me when we get him out, is it possible for them to have favourites? his temp in the warm end is 80f

Baby leaf salad from asda his fave, we did try other ones but he didnt seem to enjoy them, yesterday afternoon is the last time he ate.

Oh no i urge you to get him checked over that pet shop has a bad reputation.
Tortoises can go months without eating.
In the wild horsfields are only awake for 3 months of the year so,so important not to over feed.
Feed weeds weeds and more weeds no fruit

I dont mean to be rude but do you live near newcastle?
We live in tunstall!

I dont live in stoke anymore but go there quite alot my parents live there well newcastle, hope to move back soon.
Bath makes them go, and ive taken poo samples out of water to hannah
Take it in a tub and hand it over, hannah likes looking at poo lol
People travel far and wide to see her, not many good tortoise vets around.
