Default Are these safe to eat

Cycling home today along the canal. I decide to weed pick for Doug and Pebbles. I came home with the usual dandelion, vetch, goose grass, sow thistle etc. I also picked up these two, but I don't know 100 % what they are or if they're edible...please help

It think this is gypsywort, not sure if it's edible though?

I haven't got a clue about this one, but it was living right on the bank of the canal and I thought it was of the speedwell family, now I'm not sure because of the trumpet like flowers

Chris - it has got a square stem - does that mean it is edible then? there is loads growing by the canal, don't want to miss it all

Sarah it's definately not dead nettle, the texture of the leaves are different to that of the nettle family, quite smooth and not fluffy

Sarah you were almost right with the dead nettle

Thanks Chris, Sarah and Linda
