Norman growing correctly?
Been looking closely at Normans shell over the last few days and i am now thinking that a couple of her scutes are not growing evenly all the way round.
Her nuchal scute is growing at an angle and I think it is stuck to the scute to the left, and her vertebral scutes I think may be stuck together also.. What do you think? Do I just bathe her more than once a day??

I think a little variation is normal and I'm not seeing a problem. But let's see what others say.

I thought the keyhole looked odd before but I do also think Norman's shell looks in place as if it were always gunna grow like that

oh good, i can stop worrying now Thankyou everyone!
One of the reasons we chose norman was because of her mini-scute at the back, and it is creating a distinctive pattern in the scutes at the back as she grows. Can only be a good thing because it means she is really recognisable if she was stolen, just like my Dorothy and his really flared scutes at the back! I see a theme starting, all my tortoises are going to have wrong sex names and distinctive shells it seems!

Grace I think it's partly that we get to know the pattern on each tortoise so well after a while that it seems distinctive and unique - which of course it is!
