Frost this morning! I LOVE the crunchy grass! We did have a bit of snow in the air a few days ago but it didn't settle. We are really high up so always get it worse (or better if you like it) here. Our car was stuck on the drive for 2 weeks last year. Can't wait for it again. The postman would leave all the mail with the lady at the end of the lane and she'd deliver it on her dog walk. It feels like 100 years ago here in the winter. Rations and sharing food with neighbours that can't get shopping. It's brilliant.
Not looking forward to trying to keep my tortoise awake tho. or weed hunting But we have scarecrow competitions in the summer and snowmen ones in the winter Anyway, I think i'd better go now, i'm getting far too excited at the prospect of snow! Sorry x

Hi Becky! I used to live in the hills around Huddersfield too, in Linthwaite, and I too used to get cut off by the snow! I was a student at the time and it was great getting all the food in ready so that I could sit out the big freeze!

we love snow, have mega snowball fights with the boys and dogs, Think the dogs enjoy it more than the boys though. Mental note have to make tizzy snowboots this year. it all freezes between her toes and she ends up with ice boots. poor puppy
