Viva Las Vegas
As I am going to be 40 in November, my OH and I are treating ourselves to a fab holiday this year. In a couple of weeks time we are off to Las Vegas for 9 nights and I'm SO excited! We've already booked a once in a lifetime trip to the Grand Canyon whilst we are there, which includes helicopter rides over the canyon, hoover dam, red rock etc, a boat trip down the Colorado river, a bus tour around part of the canyon rim, a visit to a native american village and tickets to go on the skywalk. Also booked are show tickets to see Penn and Teller at the Rio, tickets to see a Chris Angel and cirque du soleil show and a visit to The Range, where we will get to try our hand at some shooting with virtually any gun of our choice. Oh, and did I mention that I'm REALLY EXCITED!

Wow, what a wonderful trip, hope you enjoy it.
We did something silllmilar back in 2004, we did a coach tour of the west coast, it was really wonderful, we did the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, went to Las Vagas, personally I hated Vagas, but that was just me, too brash for me, I loved San Francisco, great place. Enjoy every minute. Marg.

That sounds a wonderful way to mark your special birthday. My husband would love to go to Vegas too, though I don't have the head or the stomach for the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon!
I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time and come home with some amazing memories.

Such a fantastic present, what a fabulous holiday! 9 nights, all the entertainment and the Range, are you fond of firearms?

I did the Vegas thing with the Grand Canyon thing around 1996. Me and my then partner flew there on an 8 seater plane...I got off and was positively green
Then did a rim tour (can't remember which side it was), and had an IMAX film all about the canyon. Saw loads of squirrels.. That plane ride though was nasty. The canyon itself is a size you just cannot believe or understand. Awesome day. One ill never forget. Btw...I LOVE Vegas. Been twice and loved every minute if it. xx |
