Default How big Indian Stars can get?

Yes, How Big Stars can grow? And how fast? What is average weight of 3 years old Indian Star? I have one girl and she is amazing animal, big and healthy she pulled 1.180g on the scales today, I have not measured her SCL but I have a photo of her against the ruler,

The other star in the back is only one year younger, and she is only 255g. I also have othe male, he is 333g, and he is very social and not shy at all, unlike the big girl Mitha, who is very shy despite of her size.

this is an old photo when Mitha was only 700g in the beginning of August with her young friend Marge, who was only 150g then but has grown a lot since and today she is 255g.

the girls are eating Mazuri pellets, the USA version. and also are given plenty of lawn grass, which they can never resist eating.

SHe is never on the floor, this was the only occasion to take photo and she was put back in her warm talble.

Most Indian star females average 8 inches SCL and males 5 inches SCL when fully grown. Your female seems to be a good weight for her size.

How do you get the US Mazuri in the UK? At 3 years old... I can't believe it. That is amazing and it has a very unique pattern.

Thanks all for your kind comments.
I guess it is natural for them to grow faster when the conditions are good, lot of food and warm temperature.

Yes it is NutraZu (UK Mazuri), they are also given ZooMed Grassland diet for variety, the fibre based ones.
My Stars are from Andy1.

Hi Uliana. Hope you are well.

. It has been written that males in the south can reach maturity
In 3 years so I assume the same is true for females . Obviously it's all down to the right conditions.
Size varies. But yours is as big as my females when they started laying.
Can you remember which group she came from?
