Well, I would definitely try giving any medication without knocking your tortoise out. Always a risk with that. They don't stay in their shells for ever and if you can find out what treat really floats their boat then you can withold that until it's pill giving time. Of course your tortoise has to be eating fairly well to begin with! Good luck.

I am lucky with mine as they love to graze, dandies, mallow, plantain are their favourite weeds but they eat any and they will also eat meadow/Timothy hay

Of course as a treat they love cucumber, pak choi and Romaine lettuce
