Default Leopards

I currenty have one Leopard and one Horsfield tortoise (kept in seperate enclosures) I would like another Leopard tortoise to eventually live with Squirt, not to breed just as company although i know this is not essential. I know pet shops are a no no (which was where Squirt was from) and alot of tortoise keepers are against breeding Leopards so i was just wondering where i could get another Leopard tortoise from apart from re-homing which i'm currently on the list for.

there are still plenty of leopards being bred in the uk, lookout on slowcoach for a breeder, try and see if you can rehome some of the leopards seized at customs, unfortunately hundreds are being imported and when sum1 is caught, these torts need a home.

They are generally rehomed thro the big organisations such as the **** and the BCG. I know the BCG have recently taken some leopards seized at customs. Of course you have to be a member of those organisations to stand a chance of rehoming any. Also, as Carl said, strict quarantine is needed.

Try www.reptilekeeper.co.uk
and possibly www.pets-classifieds.co.uk
They don't come up too often but it's worth a look once a day or something.
