All I will say is its too hot. I can't stand it. Today it has reached 37 C and apparently its gonna be hotter by the end of the week. Even the torts have gone underground its too hot for them!

My daughter had sports day today from 1.15 - 3pm. I stayed until 1.30 and then signed my daughter out of school.
It was 34 and the teachers were under their umbrellas fanning themselves. Needless to say there wasnt going to be a teachers race! Dont think it was met with approval but she is my daughter after all! |

you would think all schools would cancel any sports day with the weather being like this, its dangerous for any young child, adults too, my lads s,day was cancelled plus play times are now cut down to 15mins, i kept him of today as he and my 2 yr old girl have been very poorly with the heat, and did i hear someone say it was getting hotter
