Hi...Poor soil, from your garden works wonders on the weed seeds, I tried Top soil and the seeds grew lanky and withered up and died. So the soil from your garden borders is best!

I use cheap bags of soil from wilkinsons 99p bags

I will be selling plug plants this year in approx a month or so

maybe a daft question but how do you guys plant your seeds???
the last lot i sprinkled on the soil n flattened it down a bit and watered - seem to be ok so far, took 2wks to grow bout 2inch

Put some soil down, some limestone flour, some soil on top, some more limestone flour. Thats how we did it, Pieces and Jam, and within days we had little buds peeping up from the soil And spray it lightly daily. Oh and if it's sunny, put them on the window - ledge ( don't know if it would be hot enough outside just yet ) Hope this is helpful.
