Default Chuntey getting it on - not for kids

Well a few of you will know the story about chuntey, he is a wild caught red footed tortoise (adult male) when we first had him he would hardly move and he ate nothing. We went through all the normal channels not feeding, checking environment etc, daily baths, but nothing. The only thing he would eat was mashed up cat biscuits and i would cover it is limestone flour and mash in weeds. I would have to sit with him for half an hour every night to try and make him eat, this lasted for about 9 months anyway after going to lots of vets darren (piglet) found out what was up with him. He had some mediciene and he slowly came around. The day we saw him eat a dandelion was like winning the lottery to us as we were sure he was going to die. Anyway he has gone from strength to strength, puting on lots of weight. Anyway I herd a werid noise and i checked on the tortoises and he has mounting poppy and quacking. So after a year long battle he is 100% fit and healthy.

Here is the picture

All i can say from my experience is DO NOT BUY WILD CAUGHT TORTOISES as this battle could happen to you. Buy from a breeder!!!
