Default Sulcata

Hi all I need a little help with a Sulcata noddy
(thisis its new name it was percy)
Ok at the moment noddy is with pongo my leopard totoise,
They have been together for some time
But I have only had them for 4 days
The reason they aretogether is because that's how I brought them both from the same viv.
Noddy has NOT eaten any thing since I got them home werepercyhas a little munch.
I am fully aware these will get extremely big but I have the space and a large garden for them
HOUSING at the moment they are in a tortoise table with full strip uva _uvb light
And a 125 watts ceramic heat lamp the basking area is 85 and they seem happy
Is this the correct way of housing them as the pet shop says they need to be kept in viv.
DIET they are on wild rocket mixed leaves pea shoots and weeds from garden with nutroball every day
I hope this is right what I am doing
I know you are all going to say separate them but if I do noddy cries a funny call until pongo returns

I would look at there diet both need a high fibre diet , pea shoots arn't good , rocket maybe now and then , your main problem might be when there a bit bigger the sulcata could do damage to the leopard .

Leopards and Sulcata's are grazers, they need tons more fibre than you're giving them. Try the Mazuri pellets. But stop the peas immediately, shop bought not often!, Nutrabol not daily, twice weekly. Limestone, I just leave a dish of it out. They eat it out of the dish.

Get them onto a grass with weeds diet and plenty of calcium carbonate.
You are right that they should be in a table/shed and not in a viv so well done. You can buy several types of grasses and hays from pet shops. They will eat the timothy hay, readigrass, etc and also testudo pre alpin is very good for both of these tortoises. good luck
