Talking From bookcase to tort table ~ For Shaz :)

From this...
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...EBOOKCASES.htm

To this...

Sorry the pics are so bad Hard to take good pics at this hour of the morning lol Pumpkin is a naughty boy with other torts, he must be kept alone, he's about 10 cms, so its pretty roomy for him, the bigger one I imagine would be humongus Must add that I had to get some strong wood from B&Q to reinforce the bottom, as its just one of those rubbish flimsy backings supplied

Yes I just put tarp along the bottom and halfway up the sides to line it, thought the viv backing just tidied it up nicely. The bigger version of this table is 6ft long I think
He didn't flinch Sharon, he should have had no energy left after the run about my lounge he had today Mr Pumpkin never stops

Thanks Jeanette He was in a cage before I got this for him, he had my head done in he could climb it right to the very top, then he'd fall At least he can't climb or get out He is the most hyperactive tort I've ever met

not a bad price for a tort table either. The size u got there if u went and bought one it would of cost so much more. I like it. Looks good and got plenty of space for them. Im thinking torts aint gonna get smaller so y not just go for a huge one thats gonna last rather than messing around getting bigger ones each time. Now all i gotta do is tell my hubby

Some of the prices on Ebay for tort tables are ridiculous, and a lot of them have pretty small sides too. I thought this looked much better than a cage, and people who see it seem to like it

I think its a great ideal. Like the one i have now, is one of a kind. No one else has one like mine cause it was made by us. If u convert something its how u have done it so i think u enjoy it more because u built it and put time into it.
