Please cut up your string bags!
Those ones you get around oranges and onions etc. Plus the plastic things they put around tin cans. They are a hazard to wildlife and can kill, maim and deform them. It takes less than a minute to snip them up before disposal. If we all have a look and a think about what we throw away and consider what harm it could do to our own pets we may save some lives.

Good advice, Wendy. I have my fruit and veg delivered loose in a box but nets and string bags cause a lot of injury. It's the same as fat balls in their string bags. I'm not sure why they're even supplied that way when they can cause harm to birds.

I have my fruit and veg delivered loose too but I ran out of onions and Hubby bought some in a string bag. The RSPB are trying to get the fat ball, bags banned.
