Can Hermanns eat grass. i read thay can't as it makes them ill.

Leggy I wouldn't purposely pick grass to feed to your hermans as its high cellouse count isn't that digestable and little nourishment is extracted , it acts more as bulk fibre when grazed naturally, if it eats it outdoors then no problem .
I find my hermans don't eat grass unless hunting clover mixed in with it D

My hermanns only eat grass by accident while grazing clover too. If they discover a particularly long piece in there then they scrape at it until it comes back out again. They clearly do not eat it by choice.

i am finding that phoebe(t.g.g) is only starting to eat grass now,
even though ive had him 4 years , but he lives more natural now also my horsfield likes grass |
