A midsummer nights' tortoise (starring Dandy Lion)
Lettuce is a spur thigh
She likes dandelions She is a determined 10 year old TGG Doesn't matter if it's a clock She will run for it and eat it until its rescued and pretty in blue ....I gave her the leaf instead.

Aww...a beautiful story starring Lettuce. Though I have to say in the first photo she looks like she has fangs, so I thought it was going to be a Midsummer's Twilight.
Great pics as always.

Yes I agree; really nice photos. Do other tortoises eat the clocks I wonder? I've not come across this before. It seems a bit odd, but now I know what CB meant about feeding the whole plant. Ole posted once about feeding the roots but I suspected he was winding us up!

thank-you for all your nice comments, love photography so sorry if I do bore also...its good to experiment.
I do get a little worried with clock eating though when it is just before hand as its like a giant marshmallow and the Horsfields woof them down almost chewing on them. CB
