Hamster Cage
Hi, I'm in desperate need of a cheap hamster cage It's for the class hamster at the school where I work. Poor 'Dobby' has got so big he can't squeeze through the tubes easily so he doesn't like to come out anymore and stays in his bed,
If anyone sees one for sale that is fairly cheap, please let me know. Thanks XX

If your not already a member of a local freecycle group it might be worth having a look for one Freecycle UK
Things like this pop up fairly regularly on mine so you might be able to get a free one. |

Forgot to say you can also post wanted ads if there are none on offer already, I'm sure someone who has one lying around will be willing to part with it for the class hamster.
Good luck |

Yeah, I'd have suggested freecycle too. I think it's called Freegle in my area now, so perhaps check it's not changed names for your area in Kent too.
Poor Dobby. Hope he soon finds lots of larger tubes he can fit through.

Thanks. The class teacher bought him a 'critter trail' one with all the tubes but Dobby can just about squeeze through them, when he's got his pouches full he can't even get in them. Because she spent alot on this one there isn't much money left in the 'hamster fund'
I'm actually looking after class 4's hamster at the moment, thought I'd better take him home seeing the weather is going to be below freezing over the weekend. Heating is turnt off in the school over the weekend. Didn't want Bo-Bo freezing. I'll post photos of her soon. She's gorgeous! xx

Dobby sounds like a little porker! I bet the children love him to bits.
Looking forward to seeing pics of Bo-Bo.
