Default Early sunshine

It is a nice day again here so Herbie and Daisy had half an hour in their outdoor enclosure to do a bit of natural foraging as still have alot of weeds. They certainly made the most of it

I have just been out cleaning out my greenhouse and picking up lots of blue rat poos and given it one good spray to sterilise it.
But on the bright side of things there are buds on my grape vine and weeds growing everywhere even all my cacti unfortunately have survived.

Oh how lovely to see photos of torts outside enjoying a bit of sunshine! It's not warm enough here yet but I'm banking on it being a lovely warm and dry summer. Your photos have made me more eager than ever to get the winter out the way!

Thanks - not really warm enough here for more than the half an hour that they had but was nice for them to have a munch and wander around but they are back in under the heat lamp now

Oohhhh lovely photos, I do like their foraging area, nice and weedy. It's lovely here too today, it really feels like spring. I will have to wait a few more weeks for my garden to get much sun, but I can't wait to get out there and start getting it tortoise ready.

Lovely pictures. How great to have them out. We had some sunshine but there was a chill wind. Made me feel quite excited about the spring and now I need to get cracking on completing their new home outside!

You don't often 'hear' people saying that..
But yes, I do agree...

Yesterday my Putin had chance to go into her greenhouse enclosure for few hours..sun warmed the air nicely and he enjoyed the change...so much so that he was behaving like a cow...endless appetite for green things...

I have been very lucky with the weeds overwinter, the outdoor enclosure is in quite a sheltered but sunny spot and i think that combined with the fairly mild winter has enabled me to have a limited amount of weeds through the winter but they really do seem to prefer being able to graze than having picked ones
