Thats interesting, ive just ordered 2 gona test my 2 juveniles as they live together so will see what that result is, so does that mean you need to worm them then if there are any eggs at all? X

He's kept in an indoor table at he moment untill weather gets better then will go outside.
He was my 'dog chewed' rescue from Solvenia. He is 4 years old and never been wormed before with previous owner. x

If there are eggs, probably yes. However, you need to find out if the tester will tell you if they see nothing.
If they only tell you there's less than a very small amount and give green, then there's no need to worm

Ok, Thanks. I'm going to email them and get some more info. I need to send off Bennie and Clydes sample when they decide to poop. Clyde came to me with a very heavy worm load, I did treat but I bet he's will come back positive and as Bennie lives with him he will probably be positive too.

The good thing is to find out if they have so it can be sorted, i wormed mine about 6 weeks ago so will see what their result is especially coz they live together, inside and outside, iv never seen any worms and i always squish their poo when i pick it up (gross i know) altho i know you cant always see them x

It is important to note that even indoor kept torts can get worms if the vegetation they are fed is not washed properly.

If its less that 20 then it's not advised to worm. Panacur destroy the natural gut flora in the torts digestive system. If your counts are low, you could potentially cause more problems from giving Panacur than the low worm egg count would cause. Unless they are symptomatic I would avoid worming! Why don't u try a natural remedy like butter nut squash? This is debatable as to if it works or not tho! Pumpkin works but you won't get any this time of year! Hope this helps! Where did you get your worm count done just out of interest?
