I am having such bad luck with my torts just lately, its so upsetting when anything goes wrong, i must admit sometimes i have been tempted to give them up it would save all this upset.

Thanks im just still upset, i think its harder losing a little one rather than an old tort, poor little thing never had much of a life.

They do grow on you a lot over the years. Don't lose heart though about keeping them. Perhaps you could rehome an older tort next time? If that would make you feel better

Oh Barbara what can I say? nothing will make you feel better after such a tragic accident.
Bless the wee tort & bless you for caring so much.
My thoughts are with you

I have 8 other tortoises, don't know how I would feel if I lost old Julie, she's 65 and has been with me for 25 years.
