Still very warm sunny in the west.
Yesterday I cycled east and it got cooler. Crossed the Forth and went north into fife and it gradually warmed. Heading back west it gradually warmed and off came layers of clothing. By the time I got back to Glasgow I was down to one light top and too hot. It was 9pm!

Wow Jonathan, I couldn't even do that on my electric bike !
Just put lemon juice in my hair, and it looks like I haven't washed it for weeks now, got dirt on face from gardening and blue from painting a Tort house and I look like a ruffian from Braveheart !!

I went into Lidl in a similar state and everything was fine until I tried to leave. The security guard suspected I had more than 5 crossants in my (5 for a pound) bag and required a thorough checking of said bag of croissants, receipt and other contents of bags generally. I think this is taking things to extremes specially as the guy at the checkout had already checked that I had 5 croissants in the bag.

Jonathan - I do hope you received an apology.

CB - must have been a tort housing weekend. The comment from my husband after painting and sorting the substrate and pea shingle was "You do look a state". He was of course right - my face looked like I hadn't washed for a week.
