I love weather debates , the brits do it sooooo well. And its always a good one when the Scots start it !!! I m with you Jan being not far away and it was blooming freezing. last few days. I had a woolly hat on and a hot water bottle ! Incredible June! I had to bring some of mine in and stick a light bulb over them as they were ice blocks and I cant remember when I last did that in June !! probably never !
Emma, you've got to get new tea leafs out !!! Or we all move to Scotland ! one or the other. CB

Never been any good at reading tea leaves. I am still predicting a wonderful June though.

No midges at all Stella! It's been a bit breezy and they don't like that. Also it's maybe a bit early in the year for them.
Up in the west highlands there are some truly beautiful places but visits can be ruined. I can remember a camping trip to Rannoch Moor that became a nightmare and a visit to Mull which was spoilt by a horrible combination of rain and midges. As soon as the rain stopped the midges came out - hungry.

Yuk......the midges have never bothered me in that I probably don't taste right for them. However, the quantity can be a bit creepy and although they have never spoilt some wonderful holidays in the west of Scotland, they have sometimes made us wish for rain x x x xhugs x x x

Yes lots of sightings of UFO's in the west of Scotland recently all of which turned out to be the sun
No such luck over this side of the country with only one partly sunny day in the last week or more |

I travelled round there and slept in a really old dilapidated haunted house and during the night I went to the toilet and nearly got stuck to the seat as it was almost frozen !! No midges but don't know what was worse ! CB

Oh that's a difficult choice, but I think I might choose the midges, at least you can put repellant on and cover up, I don't fancy the haunted house, I'm a real scardy whatsit 😱
