Just had a look at this post, very interesting. What benefits does this have and this is ok to give the tort in addition to them having their weeds with nutrabol on top. I.e - this would be left in the enclosure for them to nibble and snack on? What nutrients does it have to help them? sorry all the questions....thanks!

Hi again Yuna,
Limestone flour (the type for horses) which can be given to tortoises, is pure calcium which is great for bone/growth development. As with this thread, if you mix it with a little water and let it set, leave it in the tortoises enclosure and they nibble on it when they want it Many people use it along with the weeds and nutrabol. I usually scrap a little onto the feeds, this way they get sufficient amounts

You can buy it here from SW they sell lots of great things for tortoises and have Limestone flour also

Mine weren't bothering with the cuttlefish so thought I would make a limestone block and they love it! Thanks for the tip x
