a reasonable offer?
Can I sound you folk out on something, please?
I have a pair of Thb nearing adulthood, and Thh male at the same stage. I had thought of looking for Thh females for the boyo but have decided that I don't want to have to divide my enclosure. Do you think advertising the male Thh as a swap for an adult or sub-adult Thb female is a reasonable deal all round, or at all? Opinions very welcome!

No, no pictures yet. I haven't seen my camera since I moved house three years ago. If I go ahead and advertise this fellow, I will get pictures one way or another.
He has the usual features of his subspecies - two continuous black band beneath, the "keyhole" on the vertebral scute above the supracaudal, deeper background colour on the carapace, etc. The downside is that before he came to me two years ago, his diet must have been horrendous as he is a lumpy, over-sized bugger for his five years. He's about five inches long and *very* lively. The two Thb that he came with have exactly the same defects.

the THH would be a far more valuable animal to breed as they are far and few between, I'll take a bet and say you'd have plenty of offers to swap him for the common THB. I'd have a think about it before you decide, I don't know if the price for hatchling THH is more but do know there's a lot looking for them, you could consider selling both your THB and looking for a female THH.
