I agree part time jobs are hard to come by. I was made redundant in 2012 & have kept an eye open since, doing mainly temporary jobs. There are plenty of full time posts but hardly any p/t. I have been very lucky & just got a part time, term time only job in a school & its great, soo very busy, never a dull moment! In this case I have had to have a lot of checks & they check referances scrupilously, but thats for obvious reasons. I have in the past put companies down as past employers who I know are no longer in existance and have never had any come back/problems.

Mmmm. know what you mean on that PG I retired last April, mostly for health reasons The summer was fine, lots to keep me busy, but this first winter has been quite hard going and here I am, on the computer Am keeping my eyes open for a part time job, but like you I would only want a few hours 'cos I've loads of projects in mind when the weather improves!
