Hiya. Not sure if I'm a bit late in replying but if it's a CT scan, she will be sent away so the results can be analysed and then given an appointment for another time to go back and discuss the results. I would say more but am late for work so I'll just wish you/your mum good luck. X

She had an ultra sound scan. They didn't tell her anything, she will find out the results in 10 days.
I think they must suspect cancer too. They scanned the whole of her abdomen, from her groin right up to her breasts, on the front, and both sides, she had to lay on her sides. I think if it was just ovarian cysts they would have just scanned her lower abdomen area. She is worried now as last time they didn't scan the whole area like this time.

Now I have 10 days to worry.

Maybe they were just being extra thorough this time.
Don't dwell on this until the news comes through one way or the other (easier said than done I'm sure)

Sorry to hear that you've been left hanging in limbo Wendy. How frustrating and what an anxious wait you've all got. Being very thorough is obviously a good thing as if there's anything there, they'll have seen it. However it's bound to be a worrying wait. I'll keep everything crossed for you that there's nothing serious there.
