Good luck! I had to do a tie off recently, it is nerve racking, I used diluted Tamodine and dipped everything in it, my fingers, the scissors, cotton thread etc.
I expect your hatchlings will be glad of a drink, I used a syringe and dropped a drip at a time on its nose. After it had been operated on I put it onto some damp kitchen roll in a small bowl and left it in the incubator for the night.

Update....

I have parted them as the little one was failing... It wasnt an easy decision but one that had to be made for the sake of both little shells.... Anyway, I tied the cords and used iodine solution on the cord. Steralised everything....
Both are ok, although the little one is very weak : ( I have put them in a container with damp kitchen towel and put them back in the incubator to rest... Both have moved a little and are now sleeping............

Fingers crossed for them.. I terrified, but I had to do this for their sake... Cant believe this is my first clutch and I get twins, let alone twins that are tied together....

No sleep for me tonight,,, Thank you everyone for help support and advice : )

Take care Tracie x

Its a nerve testing experience, but all part of tortoise keeping. And you do gain a lot of knowledge from it. As it could happen again.
Its always good to have a tortoise first aid kit around:0)
Fingers crossed for them.
