Top soil or top soil/sand mix?

Hi Guys

Just wondering which you all use, 100% top soil or a top soil/sand mix.

Is one better than the other? Just wanting your opinions really

I use a topsoil and sand mix, 70/30

I use my garden soil. But it has a lot of sand in it naturally. Where we live it used to be under the sea, many hundreds of year ago, so the soil is very sandy.

I use 60/40 topsoil/sand mix.

I use 80/20, I think it just depends on what you and your tortoises like to use

I use totally topsoil. Never caused me any problems.

I use 100% topsoil. When I was mixing with sand it seemed to irritate my torts eyes.

I have a leopard tortoise and we use 50/50 but ensure it is completely dry
