T.h.hercegovinensis
Hi all, Has any one bred these little hermanns T.h.hercegovinensis.

As have I As far as breeding, they aren't any different than the other subspecies. They lay clutches like T.h.hermanni, 2 to 3 eggs a clutch. I have had a few 4 egg clutches though.

I'm finding I get 3 or 4 clutches a year on average. I have though had a female lay 6 clutches.

Hi i was lucky enough to hatch a baby Hercegovinensis on New Years Day he was the only fertile egg out of 5. I was hoping to hatch him a sister from another clutch of eggs but sadly she passed away before she hatched the other week.

Will take some new photos shortly of them i also have another female Hercegovinensis called Milly she has layed eggs but no fertile ones yet. I brought another female but she is not a Hercegovinensis. The top picture is of little Tiwi

Hi Jeff,
Still looking for a male to go with my girls but thought I'd post a few pic's of mine to show the colour variation, my Hercegovinensis are very light compared to Helsbels'. |
