Any idea why its taking so long, its showed signs of fertility straight away, one of my other eggs only shelled up three weeks ago and now it has a small vein in it and it was laid on the 15th september.

hi Barbara i incubate at 31-31.5c for graeca graeca and the humidity 65 to 70% mine started hatching at 68 days and often go 80 so its not just temperature that controls the hatching times im sure.i know its hard to be patient but it sounds like things are progressing well im sure it will be soon.you should try leopard eggs im cimbing the walls waiting for mine and im on 79 days their not even due yet lol.

At last my egg has started to hatch, it made a small hole in the shell this morning now its back on the hole, looks like its going to be a long night.

congratulations Barbara im so pleased for you and very relieved ,i must confess i was getting a little concerned myself.hatchlings are lovely and i cant wait to see the pictures (hint hint)now get some rest lol.
