I guess our big news is the fire that destroyed a third of the pier.

I couldn't agree more with Suze. Something exciting will come your way Becci but for the time being I'm glad for your sake that you've removed yourself from all that stress.
Maybe you'll come full circle and nurse again but in the community? My sister-in-law did a job fitting and checking on IV drips for patients at home, working fairly independently for BUPA. She now works at an emergency drop-in clinic but I think they have inpatients and do home calls too. It all sounds quite good. Anyway, good luck looking for a new job. x

My summer news is that I have brought my first home, and moved in 2 weeks ago.
Since moving in I've spent all my time in the garden creating tort heaven, their outdoor area is now complete and they are loving it, and I'm having my tort shed delivered this week ready for insulation and everything else so they will be living outside 24/7 - making my torts new home has created far more excitement than actually living in my new home

It's Ash's shed, not mine.

I only wish I had a garden big enough for another shed. Oh and a garden big enough for some aldabras too!
