I seem to remember that people used to recommend feeding yellow & red peppers to turtles with vitamin A deficiency. Would you recommend a bit of this for this tort ED?

Anything with vitamin A but carrots are probably the highest in vitamin A.

Update
There have been small improvements. His eyes are occasionally very slightly open. Cannot see much of an eye ball. Area around eye is quite inflamed (second eyelid?). On two occaisons I have seen is eyes open fully, the eye ball was light pink and angry looking. This has only happened when he has been in direct sunlight. Will keep up with the drops and baths (and carrot) and hopefully things will settle down and fingers crossed the little tort may have some use of his eyes.
