Hi all,

I'm pretty sure I know what this is but would like confirmation. It weighs 2kg. Any guesses about the age as I know very little about its history. Thanks.

I agree with Suze

Female Testudo graeca graeca. Probably about 75 years old or so.

Thanks all, confirmed what I thought. I didn't think she was quite as old as that as I've seen others that are much more worn and have less colour (greyer). I had been looking for one for a few years until a couple of years ago when my male passed away. Funny how things turn up when you aren't really looking for it.
