Stinging Nettles: yes or no?
Can I feed my Horsefield's Tortoise Stinging Nettles which have been washed and cut?

Only the young leaves of stinging nettles can be fed. Are you certain they are stinging nettles and not, for example, deadnettles? If you've cut and washed them did they sting you?
Usually you shouldn't need to cut weeds and plants up for your tortoise. |

You can feed them white dead nettle, there's lots of it about at the moment.
Have a look on the tortoise table plant data base, and you will see what it looks like. http://m.thetortoisetable.org.uk/m/p...?thissection=6
