Ants!!
We have relocated our leopards and I have been planting up their enclosure but the ants are driving me mad!! They keep taking all the grass seed!
Don't suppose anyone has any ideas to stop them....my leos want their grass!! Louise xx

A natrual way to get rid of ants is to put down an orange peel. This is poisonous to them. The worker ants will take it back to the queen and when she eats it she will die killing the whole colony in about a week or two. A ring of black pepper will also keep them out for the most part however if the ring is broken they will find the opening. You may want to track them back to their hill and use some pesticide there so your torts wont be in any danger.

orange peel?! i've never heard of that one before but seems pretty garden safe, i'll have to try that with the red ants.

Someone on here a while ago suggested sprinkling limestone flour on the enclosure as ants don't seem to like it. It worked for me. The ants have gone
