Oh and all the benefits you get from drinking water, you get from drinking coke too.

I'm not saying drinking coke is the healthiest thing you can drink, but if your problem is being dehydrated, drinking coke solves that problem. Obviously drinking lots of fat coke, will make you fat.

On a more global level coca cola affects millions of poor people and the company is known as a human rights violator, - I think that some of the companies are set up in third world countries where water is scarce and it takes 2 litres of water to make one litre of coca cola- so you can imagine the problems...

Check this site for more info....http://www.killercoke.org/

Ok i'll get off my soap box now....

The same goes for water companies, most have been privatised, and incredibly they transport water around the world.

Often taking water from poor water deficient countries, to more affulent countries as they achieve greater profits.

I drink a hell of alot of water, and don't drink tea or coffee, but on a Saturday morning I'm in work really early and train and there is nothing like a can of pepsi max to give me a boost

I drink gallons of water No tea, coffee, fizzy drinks at all. Water, water, water all week.
I think I probably cancel out its good effects though with my weekend alcohol consumption I'm not a drunk honest

I drink water throughout the day, nothing else but maybe a cammomile tea and I enjoy a can of coke at night. Sometimes a few glasses. I know how damaging it can be but I have never smoked or tried drugs, don't drink alchol and I'm practically vegan so I have to get me thrills somehwere!!
Eating a bite of cheese after acidic fizzy drinks brings saliva straight back down to the correct ph, combatting tooth decay as does drinking fizzy pop thru a straw.

I feel its all ok in sensible moderation.
