Default Outdoor enclosure....

I am moving next week and will be building a nice new outdoor enclosure for my 4 hermanns as soon as the weather will allow...
Just a couple of questions....

I was wanting to have some kind of a water feature like a small fountain with a shallow pebble filled pool around it....obviously I would make sure that the water was not too deep etc but do you think this would be an ok idea? or have I missed some obvious points....

I am also not too sure about what to use to prevent them form digging out....was going to dig down 2-3 feet and put some paving slabs or poss wire?? Will also need to do the same up the sides....

This is first proper enclosure I will have made so just want to get it right....

Can't wait to see it when its all finished! Just an idea, but to prevent it digging out, couldn't you put those waterproof sheets they put at the bottom of things filled with water to stop water escaping, at the bottom and fill it with soil? Sorry if my point isn't clear
