Default Bit of an update..

Hey
Some of you may have noticed that I havent been very active on here for a while! I literally have just not had the time I started college in September and I am doing a level 2 diploma in animal care and I'm aiming to get good marks in my assignments so I can go on and do level 3 next year (which is even harder eeek). I have also been busy learning to drive, I passed my theory and then my practical first time last month yey!
How have you all been? Anything I have missed?

Good to see you on here Nat. Well done for doing well with your diploma. My eldest son has two distinctions in two animal-based diplomas and is going to do his level 3 animal care, welfare & husbandry next year. Then he's hoping to go on to do animal psychology and an animal science degree. He finds it all fascinating.
How are Freddie and Flo doing?

Yes, eventually. He's 14 years old so he's got a few more years until he goes to uni. He's pretty focused on what he wants to do though so he's getting himself lots of diplomas along the way.

Ooh he's doing well for his age! Is he home tutored? I was home tutored for my last two years of school because I hated it, college is so different though and I love it lol

Yes I home educate all my children. He's looking forward to going to college at 16. I've said I'll take them all to GCSE level but if they want to do A-levels it's off to college. We're in our eighth year of home-schooling and it's been the best decision we ever made.
I love that he can work to his own ability and aptitude at home, allowing him to progress a little quicker than if he was at school and tailor his education for the career path he's chosen.
It keeps my grey cells ticking over too!!
