Default Outdoor run

Hi
I'm in the middle of sorting my outdoor run and enlarging it as getting a couple more hermanns. I plan to make them a living area inside my garage for night time so wondered if people with a similiar set up could help me out with what I should put in the run.
So far I have a small kennel that I've converted and stuck a basking lamp in there, should I bother with a uv seeing as they will be outside. I will have uv inside the garage for when they can't go out of course. Gonna put a small cold frame in there too.

To me it sounds as if you have it covered.
I don't put UV in my cold frames or outside hides, just something for warmth so they can bask in the morning or intermittently on a cloudy day.
Mine like to go outside as often as possible, even if they go back for a warm up.

I used to use my old combined bulbs outside in the kennels I doubt they had much in the way of uv left but were still good for light and heat. each new batch of hatchlings in the summer had a new bulb and outside made good use of the old.
