Yes yours are lovely what temps do u recommend under basking spot? Im getting 30.5 but doesnt seem hot enough? Unsure as to whether my thermometers very accurate as fluctuates a bit x

Abbie, I think we all do different. I have always kept mine 27 - 29, and 30 ish. And I then find they are very active. Reason being also is that outdoors they would never get that temperature consistently. and I try and 'wean' them off the hotter side. But there is nothing wrong with higher and as some people have stated gives them an option. My lot (rescues) went out summer time but I did bring them in every evening. Hermanns are one of the most docile and most ameniable of torts I think. Bet you are very excited .CB

Spray every day Abbie ! and bathe - very important. I cant stress enough getting an inexpensive humidity guage either if you can CB

Mine have a bath every day and I also spray them (they are not always keen on the idea) Looks like you have a great set up.
What type of Hermann have you bought?
