Unless things have changed... rabbitt pellets are mostly made up of alfalfa... which I believe many think is a no-no to feed. It's interesting how this conversation reads. Man... have times have changed.

Interesting. I feed these:
http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...lt-rabbit-food
To my rabbits anyway-although from a farming store rather than pets at home. They have a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 2:1, and high fiber. What concerns me is the peas.
They are one of the best pellets on the market for rabbits at least.

I use the same brand, but the guinea pig version for my guinea pigs. I think it's more suitable for torts than the rabbit one but I could be wrong. I've fed it maybe twice to the torts but I have also fed the parrot pellets a couple of times. I prefer the parrot pellets as they have D3 in them.

Ooops thanks, completely missed that post. I use Excel rabbit pellets, for my rabbit, I used to have the guinea pig pellets, but sadly over Christmas we lost the last of our piggies. I don't use Kaytee for the parrots though. Rupert loves the rabbit pellets, he has those on a Sunday, Sunday is treat day in our house lol.

Yes you are right. Many many years ago 2009 when I got Horace your advice saved him. Horace would not eat any weeds, so after your advice I stated to feed him pellets 3 times a week.
So MANY People on here Hated anyone who said feed your tort pellets
You were Right
