Default Wierd "poo" and underneath colour

Hi all

As some of you may know i took on two hermann's around the age of 3 years. There health condition was not the best. Here is the underneath of the little one's which does not seem right compared to my other older pair.

I left them both to soak in the bath and came back to notice a poo that i can only describe as green sludge.. My Older pairs are normally a solid "poo".

There diet has only been green's since being in my care..lambs lettuce..cress..usual with there calcium supplements daily.. also they actually do take notice in the cuttlefish more then my adults!

There old home by the prev owner had a UV bulb much older then 6 months.. probably more like 1-half year and no heat bulb for some time.

I hope im wrong.. any feedback would be apperiated to wether im going crazy or right..

Thanks all

Bloody friday the 13th lol

I am still learning but they look like very nice tortoises to me.Are they a boy and a girl?
Glad they have a new home where they will be given the good care they deserve

Perfectly normal Adam Growing animals tend to have a pinkish tinge to the new growth between the scutes.
Yes they are a pair no doubt about that.

Big sigh of relief as when you think something is wrong.. you end up thinking its like a thousand times worse!

How do you think they look condition wise?

Greenish poos are a sign of too much salady foods in most cases. Sometimes its a sign of illness too.

Readigrass? Comes out same as it went in only covered in a bit extra. Lovely looking tortoises and do look like a male and a female. Are you going to breed them?

Sandy, thight might explain it as lacked there weeds this week so was more lambs lettuce etc. Though will keep an eye on the next poos hehe. My vet is worming my adults in a fortnight so will look to have these checked over also.

And yep i will breed them as im also breeding my older Hermanns..I have one egg which is chalked up a treat so i hope it hatches.

Thanks all for your replies. Ill take some pic's of them the right side up later on.

Adam, when I got my reds , they both did some horribly big bright green poos... I think like Sandy said this was down to diet as this stopped after about 3 days. I've been trying them with the weeds and its taken about 2 and a bit weeks for them to even try them (when I say try, they took a tiny bte and them walked off! ARGHH!!)... very frustrating...

glad you've got hold of them now... xx
