Cheers swad, I'd been desperately trying to give them something different every day! I suppose that is good but not entirely necessary?

Just give as wide a variety as you can, its a lot harder this time of year, but sometimes we have limited weeds available, and sometimes people have to resort to supermarket produce.

Yucckkkkk, horrible picture.
My first tort was full of worms when i got her, you could very clearly see millions of them, but she wasnt lethargic and ate normally. All my torts i`ve seen eating bird poo and garden worms etc, well everything in the garden naughty really, and they get tested once a year for worms and have a normal safe amount. I always wonder why this is if they eat bird poo which is full of worms, yucckkk again, lol Funny things arent they |

Well I've tried worming my tort yesterday and today. I spread the paste on one wet lettuce leaf and he ate most of it last night. He had the rest of it this morning. I bathed him and some white stuff came out which looked like a piece of tissue but nothing that looked obviously like worms. How long does it take to work?

Two of mine were wormed by the Vet on the 27th January and the one passed worms for the first time at the weekend, and the other gave me a wormy present today!!. It took longer than I imagined, but I suppose that is the usual case with tortoises.
