Thanks for all your lovely comments guys im very happy with the way its turned out it has no electric inside as of yet gonna see how i get on with it first lol

i have 2 spur thighed boys had to split them up this year so thats why ive had to do more work for them the place in the photos is at my parents farm in south wales they stay there in the week then back home with me on weekends

as for the top lid i stapled the lumisol to the frame after i doubled it over for strength then put more batten on top just to make it look more nice hope it last the five years lol x

I wonder if the rain will collect ? or drain off , I only ask because I should have shares in mini greenhouses and the rain has collected in the middle of some of the 'panes'. Lumisol is pretty tough though and frame structure ideal. Could you post in the rain mattjstar !

yeah will take pics for you well i hope the way i made it the rain should just run off as there is nowhere for it to collected but will need to see when it rains hard lol x

ok update so had a bit of rain today and sure enough it sat right in the middle of the 2 sections need to rethink now not sure how to solve this without taking it apart not happy boy any help would be grateful thanks x

Oh no what a shame! My husband says you need to raise the height of the base at the back so the lid slopes to the front. Then move your wood trim from the top to the side on the bottom of the slope so the rain can run off. Does that make sense?

Oh no, that is exactly what I had meant and then it stretches the 'plastic' on the mini pop ups but my lumisol seem toucher. I ended up putting a broom stick in the middle so that it was more arch than flat temporarily. The height definitely has a bearing. The problem as I see from the mini pop ups is the bottom piece of wood. If you can still sandwich and remove the bottom piece it should drain off and not collect and pool. I am setting up a small water bucket to channel rain water into so it does have benefits.
