I agree Alan it wasn't a good summer for them at all, he spent a lot of time dug down. I do put it down to him not being hibernated due to varous circumstances last year, when he has been in the past. Not sure what I will do yet this year as he has missed out on over two months feeding. I will see how it goes

This is fantastic news, great that you found him in the end! It must have been very sad months for you when he went missing... On the other side he had a good nap, lazy boy.

Ubelievably, this has been the best/warmest day of the summer and we're in Autumn! clouds gathering again though
