Thanks everyone, Bruce is fine, his eye is grand. He has had a long bath and is munching happily at a petunia as I type

he only lost 5grams over the space of over 2 months underground. What wonderful creatures they are

Ha ha! I can't believe it - I ws meaning to comment on your post this morning Beverley but got waylaid, then I come on here tonight and today of all days you find him - how bizzarely brilliant!!!

Once again it shows that you should never give up on them, their survival skills are amazing - I am so pleased for you
