Thanks for all your lovely comments. I am not sure what he weighs at the moment but he is pretty heavy to lift
He is smooth but I'm afraid that was not my doing, it's probably because he has been wild caught. I often wonder where he came from and I try and give him the life he deserves but it will never be what he had. I hope he has forgotten. I do love him

Hi Lynn, yes they are similar to look at but my yellowfoot is very brown compared to the reds.
Pepper is doing very well, he is still quite a fussy eater will eat some weeds now and I am discovering more things he will eat. I will get some pics of him up soon
