My male Hermanns have spent the last few weeks nipping each other, it's Spring. Make sure the smaller one has got retreats that the larger one can't access, like a low slate cave. If you've got room for it, second basking sopt helps too, so they're not in each others face all the time.

It could become a problem, even if it's not now, in terms of your lack of space should it be necessary to separate though...

Even if blood is drawn... let them suss it out for a while. There has to be a pecking order whether it is 2 males or not. Make sure to provide barriers to break the line of sight and let them be. You don't need to get rid of one unless you want to and you don't have to seperate them.

Can the table you've got them in just have a piece of wood put in the middle to make 2 compartments that way you can seperate them until you can think of what to do? Just a thought! Rae x

Depend's on the size of table, if enough room to be devided for each tort, a thin 2mm ply sheet can seperate, one mercury combined bulb could be centered for both to share. As said it could be early to split them, one may have to be boss and after showing his dominance may settle, females together have also been known to do this.

I'm sorry but if you were told they were both boys when you got them what made you think that they weren't. You obviously knew that if they both were male then at some point you might have to separate them so why have you now decided that you don't have the space especially after such a short time.
