aldi top soil
Seen this and thought it was a great price is it ok for in the enclosures? (doesn't say if it's screened or sterilised)
Think I might get a bag to replant my flowers etc anyway http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers...uys3_18238.htm

it is actually a good price because it's a 35 litre bag whereas in homebase a 35l bag is £5.49!!! http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs...tNumber=549059
The only thing you might want to check for is that it doesn't have added fertiliser but I doubt if it has |

It say's manufactured top soil, this could be a recycled green refuse stuff with some added soil. This is where we are finding twig/plastic ect, in some B&Q stuff, recycled refuse. This should be realy labled soil conditioner, as a lot of it is from household wheelie bin's, i'm getting a bit paranoid what could be in it. So my next lot i think i will buy off a good garden place and pay a bit extra for pure screened top soil, asking for top grade and keeping the reciept.
