Chaco tortoise
Hi, I am looking for a female Chaco, as company for Pepper, even a male would do. I know I have very little chance of ever getting him company but it costs nothing to ask

Wow, I'm amazed you managed to get one. Did you import him? If I see any on the classifieds I will let you know.

It was lucky find there a thread somewhere on the forum with his story. I never heard of any other chacos in UK, are there any in Europe? It may be worth importing one, but dont know how much they cost.

He came from a zoo in Holland that was closing and ended up in a pet shop in Belfast. I happened to see him on a forum over here, never thought I would see one, here in N. Ireland lol. He was sick but is doing ok now.
I know the chances of getting another one is slim unless I import one which I would think would cost a fortune. But keep your eyes open for me, you never know

Your other option would be to have someone to keep a lookout at Hamm for you to see if there are any there.

Would it be possible to import a tortoise from States, how much paperwork involved? Danny can you say something on that? There must be a lot of paperwork.
I heard some1 brought a leopard from USA ( I wonder why, we already have many breeding groups in UK).
